About

I am a student with a strong interest in data science and its real-world applications. As a long-time football fan, I am especially interested in how data is changing the way the game is played, analyzed, and understood. Spain’s LaLiga provides a great example of how modern football combines tradition, tactics, and advanced analytics.

Through this blog, I explore how data science is used in LaLiga to support coaching decisions, evaluate player performance, and improve team tactics. My goal is to explain these ideas in a clear and non-technical way, making football analytics accessible to readers who may not have a background in statistics or programming. I focus on concepts such as expected goals (xG), tracking data, and performance metrics, using simple explanations and real football contexts.

This blog reflects both my academic interest in data science and my passion for football. By connecting analytical insights with the excitement of LaLiga, I aim to show how data can enhance our understanding of the game without taking away from its emotion, unpredictability, and creativity.
